What is ChatBuddy? ChatBuddy is a smart, autonomous AI companion that lives inside your Minecraft server's chat. It reads active chat and autonomously decides to participate in conversations using fuzzy keyword matching, emotional intelligence, and Levenshtein distance calculations.
Key Features * **Autonomous Chat Participation & Fuzzy Keyword Detection:** Intercepts active server chat and dynamically joins in on player conversations. * **Multi-Personality Engine & Contextual Memory Buffer:** Seamlessly switch personalities and retain a short-term memory buffer of chat context. * **Icebreaker Inactivity Engine:** Autonomously fires engaging conversational prompts when server chat falls silent. * **Death & Achievement Event Reactions:** Drops witty remarks and comments on achievements and player deaths in real-time. * **API Cost-Saving Wave System:** Batches reactions during peak player login/welcome waves to significantly reduce API token usage. * **Smart API Key Routing & Provider Overrides:** Allows custom provider assignments per companion personality.

Incredibly funny and natural
ChatBuddy's autonomous chat triggers are super realistic. The witty remarks on player deaths add so much character to our survival network.
